Description
The ride followed TV repair robot Zapomatic through different fantasy video settings on his quest to defeat the Gorg monster.
History
The 5th Dimension originally opened with a different story that took riders through a computer simulation, in a concept developed by Tussauds Studios and author Douglas Adams.
For its second season, this was changed to the better known story with altered scenes and a new preshow video, in a revamp produced by designer Dan Longley.
In 1994, the ride was replaced by Terror Tomb using the same ride system and building.
