The Dark Ride Database relies on its users for a great part of the information on the website. You can notify our team with any updates of information, pictures or even by adding new rides to the database.
- If you’re adding information to an existing entry, please fill in which ride and in which park the ride is located. Only fill in the boxes where you have information to add. Information boxes that you don’t add information to can be left blank. This makes it easier for the editors to distinguish the added information.
- If you’re adding a new ride, please check this list to see if your ride is not already discussed, but was rejected as an entry to the database.
- On the next page of the form, you can add additional sources to the comment section. Adding sources will help the editors determine if your changes should be approved.
- You can also upload pictures of the ride to the form.
Submission agreement
By adding information to the database you agree to the following terms:
- You give Dark Ride Database permission to publish the information that you added to our website and social media pages. This includes your writing in the Description and History boxes.
- The Dark Ride Database has the right to edit the information that you added.
- The Dark Ride Database has the right to reject the information that you added.
- Published information will be part of the Dark Ride Database indefinitely. The possibilities of the removal of information are explained below.

Rules for removal of information/pictures:
When the information or pictures that you added to the database get published, they will be part of the database for an indefinite time. You can request the removal of information or pictures by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. The editors will judge your request and notify you with the actions to follow. Due to the informative nature of this website, it is not likely that information will be removed. However in the following cases, your request is likely to be accepted:
- Faulty information. Usually this can be handled by filling in the ‘Adding information’ form, but in some cases direct contact with editors will be needed.
- Plagiarism. This may apply to the description and history boxes on the ride pages.
- When a picture that you own got uploaded to the database without your permission.
- When you or a minor child are clearly visible on a picture.
