It was already rumoured to happen when Ramses: Il Risveglio closed back in June, but it has now officially been revealed; the egyptian themed dark ride will be replaced by a dark ride based on the Jumanji Franchise. The ride has been dubbed Jumanji The Adventure.
The ride will center around the Jumanji movies, specifically the 2017 reboot; Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its 2019 sequel; Jumanji: The Next Level. The layout and scenes featured in the rides have not been revealed as of writing, but more news is already being teased on the park’s website.
The ride is scheduled to open in 2022, and replaces the old Ramses: Il Risveglio dark ride that closed in 2021. The new ride takes guests on an adventure through the Jungle of Jumanji. The adventurer’s will board a Jeep, that has room for 4 visitors. Guests can expect to encounter Animals, temples and even giants! The ride’s main focus is for guests to return the Sacred jewel to its shrine and save Jumanji.
