The Chinese theme park Happy Valley Tianjin recently opened a brand new 3D theatre. The park is part of the Happy Valley chain, owned by the OCT-group, the largest theme park operator in China. The new ride, called XD Theater, is located in the Viking Harbor area of the park and opened to visitors in July 2021. It was manufactured by the Canadian company Triotech, marking the 9th ride installation of such a ride in the Happy Valley parks.
The brand new ride offers 60 seats for guests to enjoy 3D films, featuring Triotech’s motion technology. “The OCT group and Happy Valley are key clients of Triotech and over the years we have built trust by constantly deploying amazing attractions that deliver a fun guest experience and a solid return on investment for the park,” states Han Jie, Triotech’s Sales General Manager for China. She adds: “China is an important market for us. This is why we have our own subsidiary and office established in Beijing, providing pre and after-sales support. It is always an honour to collaborate with the Happy Valley team to bring best-in-class attractions to amusement park visitors in China.”
