Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway

In Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway riders join Goofy on a train ride through cartoony sets, where they often meet Mickey, Minnie and other well-known Disney characters. The ride uses a combination of real sets and special animations that are developed to create more depth than traditional 2D animations.

The pre-show takes place in a cinema screening through which guests watch the beginnings of a Mickey and Minnie cartoon. During the film, the screen explodes due to Goofy's mishaps, leaving an entrance for guests to enter 'into' the cartoon themselves.

The ride uses a series of trackless vehicles to transport riders. When entering the station, five of these vehicles are following each other; one locomotive and four vehicles for passengers, resembling a train. However, technically these 'trains' consist of five independent cars, which split up during the ride sequence and rejoin for the finale.
