Description
This ride is based on Justice League, a team of superheroes from the DC Comics. In either a pre-show or queueline video, riders are asked to help save the world, since the bad guys have captured a couple of the Justice League's superheroes. After boarding the motion-based vehicles riders can shoot targets, both on screens and real targets, to help defeat the bad guys.
History
Justice League: Battle for Metropolis is designed by Sally Dark Rides and built throughout several Six Flags parks. The first version opened in 2015 in Six Flags over Texas. The ride received the THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2018.
Since the coronavirus pandemic, it has been noted that most, if not all installations of this attraction no longer operate with their original 3D multimedia.
