Description

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is based on the Wizarding World, the universe from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books. Riders are invited to Hogwarts Castle, the school of wizardry from the books. Guided by Harry Potter and his friends, guests get a tour around the castle and meet all kinds of magical creatures appearing in the books.

The ride features ride vehicles mounted on robotic arms as ride system.

History

At its opening, the ride included 3D multimedia. This was changed after eight months to regular 2D-films. It is the third installation of this ride that was built, after Florida (2010) and Japan (2014)
