Description
Duel is an interactive ghost train. Riders enter a spooky manor where they board cars that transport them through macabre scenes where they can shoot targets.
The official title of the ride is "Duel - The Haunted House Strikes Back"
History
The Haunted House originally opened in 1992 as a normal, family friendly, dark ride in a spooky theme. The ride was designed by Keith Sparks and John Wardley. The ride was refurbished in 2002 and opened as an interactive dark ride in 2003. All scenes were refurbished, but many of the original decorations were reused in the new version.
From 6 September 2022, Duel closed for a major refurbishment, which is confirmed to refer back to the original Haunted House.
