Description
Crush's Coaster is based on the Pixar animated movie 'Finding Nemo' (2003). In the movie Crush is an old Australian turtle that surfs the East Australian Current. In this rollercoaster, of which the cars are shaped like turtle shells, riders are invited to join Crush on his wild ride through the current.
History
Crush's Coaster is an extended version of Maurer Rides' SC2000-Spinning Coaster. The extension includes an extra lifthill and a small dark ride section before the actual lifthill. Apart from a small section between the station and the dark ride section, the coaster is entirely indoor.
The length of Crush's Coaster was never confirmed. The standard SC2000 has a length of 424 meters. The length of Crush's Coaster is estimated to be between 500 and 525 meters.
