    Description

Bermuda Triangle was a shoot the chute ride which largely takes place indoors. The ride had two drops, one of which happens outside just after exiting the show building.

The story revolved around the mysterious of the real life Bermuda Triangle islands, at which many ships and air planes have dissipated. In the pre-show, riders were asked to join the coast guard in the investigation of missing planes and ships in the Bermuda Triangle. After leaving the outdoor station, the first lift would take riders inside the volcano. There, after the first drop, aliens could be viewed in scenes ranging from a workshop to a command centre. They were working on a collection of stolen man-made vehicles as well as their own technology like an invisible UFO. Near the end of the ride, the volcano would erupt, during which the inside collapses, followed by a final drop leading back outside.

    History

The design of Bermuda Triangle was almost exactly copied for the 'Bermuda Dreieck' (now Area 51 - Top Secret) ride at Warner Bros. Movie World (now Movie Park Germany).

    Rethemed versions:

    • Lassiter's Lost Mine (1987-1993)
    • Bermuda Triangle (1994-2010)

    Was replaced by Storm Coaster.
