    Description

    Unendliche Geschichte was based on the 1983 movie of the same name, which was based on the 1979 book by German writer Michael Ende. It featured elaborate theming and encounters with characters from the movie like Gmork, Morla and Falkor.

    "Unendliche Geschichte" is German for ''NeverEnding Story''.

    Unendliche Geschichte was replaced by Mystery River when the park transitioned from Warner Bros. Movie World to Movie Park Germany. It reused the ride system and large parts of the theming. In 2018, the ride received another change in theme when it was rethemed to Excalibur - Secrets of the Dark Forest.
