A brand new Legoland Discovery Centre will open in the Dutch city of The Hague. The construction of the building along the seaside boulevard has already finished. A couple weeks ago, the building plans for the inside of the Discovery Center were revealed.

The plans show that the new attraction will also feature a 4D Cinema and a small dark ride. The 4D Cinema will also feature a pre-show. The dark ride features 4-seater cars and a combination of projections and real props. This is assumed to be another copy of the Kingdom Quest dark rides which can be found in many Legoland Discovery Centres worldwide. Kingdom Quest is an interactive darkrides built by ETF Ride Systems and Alterface.

Other attractions include several themed playgrounds and a central Miniland, which is known to feature buildings from the city of The Hague. The Legoland Discovery Centre was set to open in 2019, but opening had to be delayed ’til May 7th, 2020. Restrictions in The Netherlands following the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus will prohibit the park to open on that day however. Legoland Discovery Centre has not yet announced a new opening date.
