The French chain of Family Entertainment Centres ‘La Tête dans les Nuages’ will expand with new locations. Between this October and 2024, five more centres will open: three in the Paris region, one in Lyon and one in Nice. All of these centres will feature an interactive theatre by Triotech, the XD Dark Ride.
La Tête dans les Nuages (translated to: ‘Head in the Clouds’) was established in 1992 and currently consists of 3 branches: downtown Paris, Aeroville Mall (north of Paris) and Lyon. The centres contain a large number of arcade games, small rides and an interactive theatre, called 7Di Cinéma Dynamique. The location in the Aeroville mall even contains a dark ride: Hyper Ride (read the report of our visit).
With the opening of the new centres, La Tête dans les Nuages will become one of the biggest operators of FECs in France. “La Tête dans les Nuages is a leader in the FEC segment in France. They are at the forefront of bringing this entertainment model in that country”, said Yannick Gemme, Vice-President Sales and Marketing at Triotech in a press-release. He added “We design attractions and rides that have a wide demographic appeal and that guests enjoys over and over again. This ensures a very strong return on investment for operators such as La Tête dans les Nuages.“

Besides the opening of the new centres, La Tête dans les Nuages keeps improving its existing centres. Together with Triotech, they have recently upgraded the 7Di Cinéma Dynamique of the Paris centre from 4 seats to 16 seats.
