    Description

Le Temple du Soleil was a free flow boat ride based on the 1949 Tintin album of the same name. It was released in English as Prisoners of the Sun. Boats shaped like canoes flowed through a florescent lit jungle which eventually led to the Temple of the Sun. The characters of Tintin and friends were static.

''Le Temple du Soleil'' is French for ''The Temple of the Sun''.

    History

Due to low capacity, the ride was demolished after the 1979 season. Walibi opened Secret de La Licorne, based on a different Tintin story, in 1980 as a spiritual successor.
