Spookkasteel

Used to be called "Griezelpaleis", which roughly translates to "Scary palace". Both the name and facade (possibly the interior as well) were changed somewhere during the mid-2000s. Regularly new effect are added or replaced, such as as screens with animations in 2017.

Early in the 2021 season De Valkenier announced that it would be its final season and the park would close at the end of October. The season was cut short after the park flooded on 15 July during the 2021 European floods. All rides were removed in 2022. It it unknown what happened with Spookkasteel.
