Description
Mystery Mansion was an interactive dark ride based around a haunted house. Guests would enter a pre-show and encounter an animatronic butler. The room would then come ''alive'' with books on shelves falling over and so forth.
The ride featured Mack's interactive ride system in which guests take a seat back to back. The scenes were quite dark and featured various targets which when shot would activate an effect or sound. Among the haunted attributes were eyes glowing in the dark, self-playing instruments and a floating chess game.
In many ways, Mystery Mansion was a successor to Discovery Club in Avonturenpark Hellendoorn, having been designed by the same company and reusing many of its aspects.
History
For the 2018 season, Mystery Mansion was rethemed to Shooting Ghost. The story was kept more or less the same, so was the queue, but the theming in the ride was largely replaced with projections. Also the ride system was replaced to now feature normal, non-spinning cars in which all guests face the same way.
