Description
Riders of Magic Mountain would board a circus train and ride along colourful and cartoony scenes, depicting both circus elements and different areas of the world. It was located in Beaver Creek, the children's section of the park, which nowadays is known as Nickelodeon Land.
History
Originally the ride was known as The Grotto, later The Fairy Grotto, and was located on the site of Alice's Wonderland. When Alice opened in 1962, it was moved to a spot in the back of the park. The scenes inside were changed over time, with the ones present until the closure likely stemming from the 1970s.
Magic Mountain closed in September 2010, when the Beaver Creek area was transformed into Nickelodeon Land. An outdoor boat ride, Dora's World Voyage, now stands in its spot. The roof and facade of the building got removed, but the back wall of the station was reused for the station of Dora's.
