Knights Ride Tower

Knights Ride Tower is an enclosed free fall of 20 metres height, with a medieval theme that contains 4 dark ride scenes. The scenes are viewed while going up, and then the drop happens in complete darkness.

It is based on a folk story told in the Salzburg region in which a knight, in order to marry the daughter of the count, has to traverse the dangerous mountain Babylon within 1 hour. When the devil blows his horn at midnight, creatures like dragons and griffins roam the mountain.

The transport system incorporates effects like 'claws' of the griffin being felt in the backrest when it attacks.
