Description
Judgement Day was a dark boat ride in the London Dungeon that took guests through Traitor's Gate to their execution. After being raised up a vertical turntable lift, a firing squad shot at guests and the boats descended down a backwards drop. The ride was revamped as Traitor! Boat Ride to Hell in 2004.
History
The ride opened in 1997 as part of a complete redesign of the London Dungeon. It was revamped as Traitor! in 2004, with most the first scenes becoming defunct and the turntable vertical lift replaced by a conventional ramp.
The attraction was closed in 2013 with relocation of the London Dungeon to County Hall, Westminster, where the ride system was relocated and became Tyrant Boat Ride.
