Description
Ecodrome was a museum about nature, in which all activities were named 'Expedities' (expeditions). Located in the main building was a small dark ride (the first trackless dark ride of the Netherlands) called Expeditie Tijdreis, in which guests could make a trip through time. The most elaborate scene was that of a dinosaur diorama.
'Expeditie Tijdreis' is Dutch for 'Expedition Time Travel'.
History
It was presumed that the ride was bought back by ETF Ride Systems after the closure of Ecodrome. Some sources however, claim that it was sold to Natuurmuseum Fryslân for their OnderWaterSafari dark ride.
