Description

Deep Sea Adventure is an underwater dark ride combining an aquarium tank. Guests board suspended ride vehicles (themed as submarines) that are partly submerged into the water. Through windows in the submarines, guests can view various fish and with Lego models.

The submarines feature interactive screens that display information on the journey and the fish that guests might encounter. All submarine vehicles are connected to each other forming an endless chain.

History

Several Legoland theme parks contain a submarine ride. The first one was installed in Legoland Windsor (Atlantis, 2011), followed by Legoland Dubai (Submarine Adventure, 2016), Legoland Japan (Submarine Adventure, 2017) and Legoland California (Lego City: Deep Sea Adventure, 2018).

The ride was called Atlantis Submarine Voyage from its opening in 2011 to 2019, when it was rethemed as Deep Sea Adventure with a new exterior and on-board show.
