Description
BHS is short for Bayrische Berg-, Hütten- und Salzwerke (Bavarian Mining, Metalmelting and Saltworks Company). During the 1980's en 1990's, they produced a few steel roller coasters and other ride systems
History
BHS was founded by the Bavarian authorities in 1927 and slowly grew in size. In 1997, the major part of the company was merged with Trostwerk AG, meaning the formal end of BHS. The amusement division was taken over by Maurer Söhne, a competing steelworks company, in 1993 and is now known as Maurer Rides GmbH
