Description
Parc Océanique Cousteau was a marine-themed experience, consisting of a walkthrough and dark ride. The park did not contain any animals, but was fully themed to life underwater.
History
The endless-chain ride system of the dark ride was designed by an unknown company. It is known that this company mostly worked in the automotive industry, specialized in conveyors.
Parc Océanique permanently closed in November 1992. After three years of operation, the ride system was moved to Futuroscope (Chasseneuil-du-Poitou - France), where it first was used for 'Images Studio' (1995-2004) and later 'Star du Futur!' (2005-2009). The ride system was permanently dismantled in January 2010.
