Description
Custom Coasters International specialized in the design and construction of major wooden roller coasters.
History
Custom Coasters International was founded in 1991 by Denise Dinn-Larrick, doughter of coaster designer Charles Dinn, and her brother and husband. One year later, they attracted Larry Bill as coaster designer from Curtis D. Summers. Custom Coasters International filed for bankruptcy in 2002; while Denise Dinn was hired by S&S to help the company step into the wooden coaster business, four of CCI's designers founded Gravity Group, continuing building wooden coasters in CCI's style.
The company was originally known as Custom Coasters Inc., but the name was changed to 'International' when they attarcted foreign customers.
