Description
I Corsari is a large free flow boat ride in pirate theme, which is built entirely underground. Guests enter the ride through a big pirate ship and then walk down towards the boarding platform. Scenes in I Corsari include treasuries, battle scenes and an underwater passage. The ride includes two drops.
Ride vehicles are large boats for 20 riders which are coupled per two.
'I Corsari: La Vendetta del Fantasma' is Italian for 'The Pirate: Revenge of the Ghost'.

History
Originally, the ride was going to designed by Mazzoli Entreprises, like was the case with Gardaland's previous dark ride project, Valle dei Re. Some design work was already completed, when the design duties were handed over to Richard Crane Productions instead.
The ride was updated in 2018. Video mapping and new voice overs, some by Italian actor Pietro Ubaldi, were added. The name was changed from 'I Corsari' to 'I Corsari: La Vendetta del Fantasma' following the overhaul.
