    History

The ride was named Märchenbahn (Fairytale Train) upon opening, after this it was renamed to Märchenbahn Schlaraffenland / Euro-Maus im Schlaraffenland (Euro-Maus in the Land of Milk and Money), although the name Märchenbahn would continued to be used also. In 1995, the name was changed to Ciao Bambini. The interior of the ride was changed over the years and was eventually replaced by Piccolo Mondo in 2011.
