This was the first of three dark rides in Liseberg named Blå Tåget and operated from 1937 to 1948.
'Blå Tåget' is Swedish for 'Blue Train'.
Blå Tåget was a retheme of the first Spöktåget. The Blå Tåget burned down on the 10th of April 1949, before the start of the season, making 1948 the last opening date. A temporary replacement dark ride, named 'Spöktåget' would open on its former spot. This would be removed once the new Blå Tåget was built for the 1950 season.
