At the moment, Saudi Entertainment Venues (SEVEN) is investing largely in the creation of 21 entertainment destinations around Saudi Arabia. Today, the company announced a collaboration with Triotech on the creation of interactive dark rides, based on the Transformers franchise. The first of these is to be installed in SEVEN’s entertainment destination in the Al Hamra district of Riyadh city, with two additional attractions set to open at other locations.

SEVEN recently announced that it will bring the Transformers brand to its entertainment destinations in the Kingdom. The attractions will feature thrilling rides and captivating environments that will have guests fully immersed in the action-packed world of the iconic brand. To complete the experience, there will be branded retail, including specially developed merchandise, and themed food and beverage venues, leaving guests feeling as though they have stepped into the Transformers universe. SEVEN has awarded the contract to Triotech to develop the interactive dark rides, where Triotech is responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of these rides.

Damien Latham, Chief Attractions Officer at SEVEN, said: “We are excited to be working with Triotech to bring the Transformers attractions to our entertainment destinations, providing our guests with a one-of-a-kind attraction.” Ernest Yale, President and CEO of Triotech, added: “Triotech will leverage its global leadership in immersive experiences and its ability to deliver turnkey attractions to make this an experience that will bring the guests into the Transformers world.”

More technical details on the ride itself, like the ride system, are yet unknown, as well as the projected opening date of the first installation of these rides.
