The newest attraction of The Island entertainment center in Pigeon Forge has opened its doors. SkyFly: Soar America is now open to visitors. This flying theatre built by Dynamic Attractions takes visitors on a journey across various places in the United States. The ride was in soft opening since the beginning of July and officially opened earlier this month.
The building of the ride was designed by P+A Projects and was given a complete steam-punk theme. “Inside is a fully themed attraction, telling a stirring, whimsical, and exhilarating story. Guests enter an inventor’s workshop, where their anticipation peaks and they board an ‘airship’ to ride above some of the most famous places in the United States” says Mason Schmitz of P+A Projects in a press release. The theming was built by Adirondack Studios.
The attraction features an extensivly themed queueline and a pre-show telling the story of the invention of a brand new transportation system. Music for the ride was composed by Yessian Music.
