Prof. Burp's Bubble Works

The attraction was designed and built by Sparks Creative Services and was partly located above the Vampire roller coaster, opened the same year. The theme was developed by Tussauds park developer John Wardley and Siriol Animation.

The animatronic figures of Professor Burp and his dog Fizzy were built by Farmer Studios.

A year after opening, the boats by Leisurtec were replaced by WGH Transportation due to many of the original boats sinking.

For the 2006 season, the ride was revamped and sponsored by Imperial Leather. All references to soft drinks were replaced by soap products and the characters of Professor Burp and Fizzy were removed, with the ride renamed 'Bubbleworks'.
