Description
Petit Train Rapido was a kiddie train ride in the indoor Méga Parc. It featured a narrow tunnel which took riders into a forest wit fairies. The tunnel stretched throughout most of the ride a featured a combination of set pieces and painted backdrops.
''Petit Train Rapido'' is French for ''Little Train Rapido''.
History
The ride opened with the park itself in May 1988 as a simple kiddie train. In 1998, the tunnel was added. The dark ride elements weren't put into place until 2013, when the ride reached its third incarnation. The theming was designed by Ateliers Némésis and realised by author Bryan Perro, with new lighting by the firm Teksho.
Petit Train Rapido closed in September 2017 when the park underwent a renovation. During which, some rides, including Rapido, were removed. When the park reopened on 17 January 2019 with a steampunk theme, Rapido was replaced by Express (SBF Visa), an new kiddie train albeit with no dark ride scenes or tunnel.
