Though a Ninjago ride is officially still not confirmed, park plans feature a Ninjago-themed zone. It is unlikely for Legoland Shanghai not to feature a Ninjago dark ride.
This interactive dark ride is based on Lego's Ninjago franchise. During the ride riders can score point by throwing balls towards Lego characters projected on large screens. This system does not use guns, guests have to make a throwing movement with their own hands which are registered by sensors.
Cars seating 4 persons are coupled per 2, making 8 people per vehicle. Two vehicles are loaded simultaneously.
A Ninjago-ride can be found in almost all Legoland-parks over the world. The one in California was the first of these rides to be opened in 2016. All versions of the ride are technically identical.
