Frontierland Western Theme Park

The park originally opened as West End Amusement Park in 1906. It was purchased by Blackpool Pleasure Beach Ltd in 1936 and became known as Fun City, later Morcambe Pleasure Park. In 1987, the park was revamped as Frontierland with the Western theme. Various additions were made until the park was largely demolished in 1999 and finally closed in 2000 following yearly attendance losses.
