On the second day of the IAAPA Expo Europe, Outdoor Factory announced the development of a new park in Venezuela, called Isla Aventura. The park will be a redevelopment of the former amusement park Diverland on the island of Margarita and will be home to two DRdb-listed attractions.
Outdoor Factory was tasked with master planning of Isa Aventura and gave a presentation about the new park. It is set to be the first theme park of Venezuela and will feature many rides ranging from being meant for children to roller coasters, including a new Mack Big Dipper, similar to Dynamite in Freizeitpark Plohn. The company also revealed an impressive scale model that shows the entire park including all the rides, some of which will be reused, some of which will be newly built.

Of the new rides, two will be listed on Dark Ride Database. The first is an interactive dark ride that will be located inside an artificial mountain. It is being created by Lagotronics Projects and is to feature a ride system by Gosetto. The mountain will be a multi-functional building and will also feature a restaurant and the start of a zip-line. The building acts as an eye-catcther in the centre of the park, with a waterfall flowing down into the lake.
The second notable ride will be an interactive revolving theatre, also by Lagotronics Projects and one of their GameChanger installations. The attraction will be located inside a fortress behind the mountain. It will feature five interactive scenes in an underwater theme.

Isla Aventura is a redevelopment of the former Diverland, that has been out of operation for several years now. The park was best known among roller coaster enthusiasts for having a Vekoma Double Loop Corkscrew called Montaña Rusa, that was built in the 80s. This coaster will be refurbished and is scheduled to reopen with Isla Aventura. Many of the other existing infrastructure, such as pathways are being kept as well.
Isla Aventura is set to become 110.000 m² in size and will feature 29 attraction. A total of €50 million is being invested in the park, with the opening being scheduled for December of 2026.
