Spukhaus is an extensively themed old school Haunted Swing. The queue features characters behind windows and inside the swing hangs a large chandelier with a face from the ceiling. The soundtrack is that of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor on organ by the famous German composer Bach.
"Spukhaus" is German for "Haunted House".
The ride opened with other decorations as Geisterhöhle (Ghost Cave). In the early 2000s, the ride was refurbished and received its current theming. The new theming, being the house surrounding the Haunted Swing, was built by the park's own carpenter.
