S&MC was founded by a couple of employees from SDC in 1993, when SDC went bankrupt (simultaneously, C&S emerged out of SDC's bankruptcy). S&MC was converted to L&T Systems in 1997. L&T Systems, in turn, went bankrupt in 2009, after which IP was transferred to Preston&Barbieri
