Nemesis: Sub-Terra was an indoor drop tower attraction with a horror-based storyline connecting to neighbouring roller coaster Nemesis. Guests would join a scientific discovery that had located an egg of the Nemesis monster beneath the earth. During further study of the egg, the ride system would drop into a cavern full of many more hatching eggs.
Upon returning to the top, guests would depart the ride and enter an elevator sequence and a portion of scare maze, both directed by live actors, before exiting the experience.
Nemesis: Sub-Terra closed in August 2015 after the Smiler incident. The ride system is still standing inside its building. Most of the building has been gutted at some point however and has even been used as a scare attraction during the parks halloween event.
