Description
The Great Movie Ride took riders through scenes from iconc films such as Singin' In The Rain and Alien. The Great Movie Ride utilized live characters midway through (cowboys or gangsters) which would "hijack" the ride vehicles and lead them until being destroyed in an Indiana Jones inspired sequence.
History
The Great Movie Ride was replaced by Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway (2020-present).
The Wicked Witch animatronic was at the time likely the most advanced in the world. To create this first ''A-100'' type figure, Walt Disney Imagineering partnered with the American company Sarcos.
