History
The Ghost Ride was built by the Chipperfield Bros. and opened in their own park, Chipperfield's Amusement Park, in 1961. It is not known when the ride left the park, but it later ended up travelling with the Chipperfield Bros. in fairs throughout the UK. Originally opened with cars built by Hayes Fabrication, these later got replaced with cars built by Supercar.
The Ghost Ride was later sold to Seaburn Fun Park, but the Chipperfield Bros. bought it back after the first season of operation at that park. The ride was eventually sold to Dreamland in 2015, where it operated for 2 seasons, closing after the 2016 season. Its fate is currently unknown.
