Description
Dante's Dungeon is losely based on the epic poem 'Inferno' by Dante Alighieri, a famous Italian poet.
Regularly an employee is present in the ride, behind the first set of doors, playing the part of scare actor.
The ride is located on the Surfside Pier.
History
Dante's Dungeon was called Dante's Inferno in the past. In 2005 the ride was refurbished, receiving new theming and a new name.
The ride system originates from 1981. Some sources tell it was made by Schwarzkopf, others claim Bertazzon.
