Description
Batman Adventure - The Ride was a motion-simulator based on the adventures of Batman. The exterior of the ride was decorated as Wayne Manor, owned by Bruce Wayne (Batman). Riders would enter two pre-shows (first in the Manor, second in the Batcave), before boarding the Batmobile. Riders would join Batman during a quest to capture villains in Gotham City. In Batman Adventure - The Ride 2, the Batmobile part of the story was replaced by a flight in the Batwing.

History
Batman Adventure - The Ride originally featured a mostly-live action film as the main show, that was strongly based on the Batman Returns movie (1992). It featured the Penguin and the Red Triangle Gang. The main show was replaced by a new 3D animated movie, based on a flight on the Batwing. It featured The Joker, Mr. Freeze and Catwoman as the villains. The ride was renamed 'Batman Adventure - The Ride 2' when the new main show was added and reopened December 26 2001.
The original main show was also used for 'Batman Abenteuer' in Warner Bros. Movie World Germany (now Movie Park Germany). The second version was used for Batman - Knight Flight in Parque Warner Madrid.
Batman Adventure - The Ride 2 was replaced by Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D.
