Description
Batman Abenteuer was based on the movie Batman Returns (1991). The ride was similar to the first version of Batman Adventure - The Ride 2 (1992-2001) in Warner Bros. Movie World (Gold Coast, Australia). The pre-show started with an introduction of Batman’s butler Alfred in the library of Wayne Manor. When the secret passage through the bookcase opened, the riders went into the Batcave and eventually the Batmobile as the main show.
"Batman Abenteuer" is German for ''Batman Adventure''.

History
When StarParks bought Warner Bros. Movie World in 2004, the company did not extend the contract with Warner Brothers for the use of their intellectual property. The park was renamed to Movie Park Germany and all IP-based rides were closed or rethemed. Batman Abenteuer was turned into Time Riders.
Even though the storyline has changed, both the interior and the gothic exterior of the building did not change much.
