Description
In Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin guests followed a young penguin when he first ventures out into the sea. The young penguin, Puck, is introduced in a pre-show. After the pre-show, riders can choose between a 'mild' or 'wild' ride. After the ride visitors enter the penguin exhibit where they are in the same room as the penguins, which is cooled to approximately 0°C.
History
Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin was closed at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Technical issues with the ride system prevent SeaWorld from reopening the dark ride. It is not expected that the ride will reopen any time soon, if it reopens at all.
Currently, the queueline and pre-show elements remain, but as an introduction to just the penguin exhibit walkthrough instead.
