Legoland Windsor is the last in line of three Legoland parks to open a Flying Theatre this year. The park opens their brand new ‘Flight of the Sky Lion‘ today. This ride offers a completely different experience from the other Flying Theatres in Florida (2019), Billund (2021) and California (2021). These rides are based on the Lego Movie franchise, but the installation in Windsor is placed in the new theme zone Mythica.
Flight of the Sky Lion, and the new Mythica zone, revolve around mythical creatures. One of these creatures is the Sky Lion that takes riders for a flight. “We’re thrilled to be bringing the first Flying Theatre ride to the UK and today revealing all the rides and attractions which will make LEGO MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures a must-do experience” says Helen Bull (Divisional Director at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort) in a press statement.
Just like the other Flying Theatres in Legoland Parks, Flight of the Sky Lion was built by Taiwanese simulator manufacturer Brogent Technologies.
