Today, Legoland Billund (Denmark) has announced an opening date for 2020. Visitors are welcome to visit the park for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak on the 8th of June. However, the park has also announced that the new Lego Movie theme zone, including the new Flying Theatre “Emmet’s Flying Adventure – Masters of Flight” won’t be opening in 2020.
“Both us and our guests have been really looking forward to this year, when we were to open a whole new area in LEGOLAND. Unfortunately, the corona crisis has caused that our foreign suppliers failed to complete the rides. […] It is not realistic that we can open the area this year,” states Legoland CEO Christian Woller in a press release.
People who want to visit Legoland this season have to book their visit in advance through the Legoland website.
