Legoland Billund has anounced a new theme zone: Lego Movie World. Main attraction of the zone: Emmets Flying Adventure – Masters of Flight, the first flying theatre of Scandinavia.
Lego Movie World will be based upon the two Lego movies that were produced by Lego and Warner Bros. Emmet is the main character of these two movies, voiced by Chris Pratt. The new zone covers aproximly 5000m² and contains two more rides: Apocalypseburg Sky Battle and Unikitty’s Disco Drop.
Legoland Florida already opened a Lego Movie World in 2019, including a flying theatre. The ride was built by Brogent/Vekoma. It is expected that this version in Denmark will also be built by those companies.
Legoland originally set the opening date on April 28th, but the opening had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 Virus outbreak in Europe. Legoland has not announced a new date yet.
