A new attraction has recently opened in the American Dream mall in East Rutherford (NJ – U.S.A.): Blast 7D. This new interactive theatre provides an immersive gaming experience for the visitors of the retailtainment mall.
Retailtainment is a combination of entertainment and shopping. The American Dream mall consists of a large shopping centre and a number of attractions, such as Legoland Discovery Centre, Sea Life, Nickelodeon Universe and DreamWorks Water Park. “American Dream offers exhilarating, unique experiences to our guests that they won’t find anywhere else in the world,” said Bryan Gaus, SVP general manager of American Dream to Blooloop.
The line-up of attractions was recently expanded with a new addition: Blast 7D, a stand-alone interactive theatre is now operating in the mall. Blast 7D was manufactured by Triotech and is part of their line of XD Dark Ride interactive theatres, containing 12 seats.
The article on Blooloop hints at multiple themes: “evil robot cowboys, zombies, and many other villains through different worlds”. This indicates that this interactive theatre is probably able to alternate between the game levels, creating a higher replayability for guests.
