After being closed for several months last year, The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland reopened with its traditional Nightmare Before Christmas overlay. It has once again closed and reopened to its traditional version, this time showing off a latest set of updates, including changes to the Attic and Hitchhiking Ghosts scenes.

In late 2024, the queue was expanded along with a new gift shop at the exit, and in December, a new music loop by Ego Plum debuted. The Stretching Room remains mostly the same, with its dim lighting, striped walls, and eerie portraits. The hanging corpse remains despite rumors it may have been removed.
Several minor details have been added such as a bat in a birdcage in the first hallway, inspired by original concept art, which appeared briefly in 2023 but has now returned, seemingly to stay.

The biggest change however is in the attic where a new ghost bride replaces the previous version of the character, Constance Hatchaway. In a callback to the original the bride, the bride now stands by a starlit window holding a glowing candelabra, her heart shining bright red.
A new floating candelabra has also been added in the following graveyard scene. Also in the finale, the Hitchhiking Ghosts have been changed from animatronic figures to digital projections, in line with a previous update to the Magic Kingdom version of the ride.
