Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is known for its location amidst the Great Smokey Mountains and for its many tourist attractions. Among them is The Island, an entertainment center combing rides, dining and retail. Today, the center announced the opening of a brand new Flying Theatre. The ride is called Sky Fly: Soar America and will take its riders on a breathtaking flight over America’s most iconic landmarks and beautiful natural landscapes.
The $20 million investment will use a state-of-the-art ride system provided by Dynamic Attractions. “We are very excited to bring another premier attraction to The Island in Pigeon Forge,” said Bob McManus, President of The Island. “This flying theatre will truly be a one-of-a-kind, immersive entertainment experience. From The Island, guests will be transported to places that they otherwise may never have the opportunity to see, and experience the beauty of America in a unique and unforgettable way.” Sky Fly: Soar America is taking flight in the summer of 2021.
