Barry’s Amusements (Portrush, Northern-Ireland) closed at the end of the 2019 season, leaving several rides standing but not operating (SBNO) for the following two seasons. Luckily, the park reopened in the 2022 season under the new ownership of the Curry family, this also means that the Ghost Train is back to its usual operating schedule at what is now Curry’s Fun Park.

The Ghost Train was completely redesigned by Dead Walk Designs in 2018, breathing new life into the classic ride by introducing new characters as well as redeveloping the ride’s classic animatronics. This version of the ride was unfortunately only open for two years, closing with the park in 2019. The Curry family haven’t made any significant changes to the ride since its closure, guaranteeing that the ride will be able to spook future visitors for many more years to come.
